Hi, my name is Emily Nguyen! I am a Vietnamese-American from Gretna, Louisiana.

My major in Mechanical Engineering, accompanied by a minor in Business Administration, has equipped me with critical problem-solving skills grounded in mathematics, physics, and materials science.

Through this foundation, I’ve developed a strong interest in energy production—specifically in applying engineering analysis to the planning and design of transmission lines that meet safety and performance standards. This interest has guided my professional goals and shaped the direction I hope to take after graduation.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking dishes rooted in my Asian culture and heritage. I also like spending time with my friends and family—whether we are playing board games, watching LSU sports games, or going to Pilates together.
